I was brought on board for Chase and Erika’s flowers and it was so much fun working together! They had a mega talented photographer (Kendall Borel), and Erika was super open to letting me create whatever I wanted within her vision. So basically a florist’s dream client.
We went with simple centers in various different assortments, some fun ceremony and seating chart installations, and a lot of personal touches on the wearables and bouquets. Erika’s grandfather is a rose gardener, and she gave me a bucket full of his roses to incorporate into the designs. Swoon.
We went with single Cafe au Lait Dahlias for the moms and grandma’s to carry. This is one of my favorite ways to include special women in the florals for a processional – so many women are really over the idea of wearing a corsage – whether its pinned or on the wrist. This way they can feel honored, but not have to worry about protecting the blooms all night long on the dance floor!
